I also recommend the convex model, as it makes a great pod of coffee and allows the perfect amount of water to flow, vs the flat model.

(More customer reviews)If you have tall glasses, this is a good long spoon for a good price.

It's sturdier than I thought it would be. It's also heavier, so if you have delicate tall glasses, you might want to take care that the spoon doesn't make the glass tip over when it's empty. My tall glasses have heavy bottoms and are fairly sturdy, so that's not a problem for me.

At first glance, I thought this spoon was okay looking, interesting but not beautiful. But now that I've gotten used to it, I've come to realize how attractive it is. A tall glass of iced tea or coffee with this spoon in it looks like something that belongs in a fancy cookbook. My kids also think the twist is fun. Even my husband likes to play at twirling it in his fingers. Cute.

The spoon is somewhat flat, but not more so than other long spoons I've seen.

All in all, a very good buy for the money.

Dimensions are accurate (6 x 8), but photo shows a mat with different dimensions.When new, the mat had a heavy (and offensive) rubber smell.Multiple washings have reduced the odor, and hopefully that reduction will continue.... The odor kept me from giving the product 5 stars.

Espresso Supply 2-Ounce Shot Glass Review

(More customer reviews)This is a nice shot glass, and the 1oz mark is extremely useful, especially if your espresso machine does not automatically stop brewing. However, the glass is 3" tall, and therefore does not fit properly with a DeLonghi EC155 Espresso Maker. You will have to move the glass aside and remove the metal grate in order to take your shot glass out from under the portafilter.

Rattleware 7-Inch Espresso Machine Brush,with Drip Guard Review

(More customer reviews)I used this brush on a Gaggia New Baby 2006 espresso machine which has a commercial 58-mm group head.The brush fit tightly (a good thing) into the channel where the group head gasket sits.This allowed me to scrub out the coffee grinds which were slowly building up on the gasket.If you have a smaller group head (i.e. have a pressurized portafilter) on your espresso machine this brush probably will not fit.The drip guard on the brush does work, but because it's almost half-way down the handle it's rather common for the water to drip off to the side of the machine rather than conveniently into the drip tray (still better than having the hot water scalding your hand).Lastly I have to note that the brush was very stiff when it arrived but softened up after repeated uses.I prefer the brush on the softer side as it makes it easier through to fit into the group head channel.In all, other than the drip guard and the initial stiffness I feel very satisfied with my purchase.The build is solid and the price is reasonable.

(More customer reviews)You can't really go wrong with a blank metal disk and a brush.the angle is fine and it all fits in the right places.Yay.success.However, the long thin brush does not have bristles right to the end so that it can't get in the tight places I'd like it too.The set also comes with some sort of plastic "grip" holder thing that doesn't seem to fit any of the tools or anything on my machine.just buy the backflush disc and angle brush by themselves.

Espresso Supply 58-Milimeter Backflush Insert, Metal Review

(More customer reviews)As the item description states, this blind basket will fit into a 58-mm (commercial size) portafilter.In my case, it fit perfectly in a Gaggia New Baby 2006 portafilter.I attempted to backflush my machine and did worked!In my case backflushing does not appear to be necessary because only clear liquid came out and there didn't appear to be any build-up behind the shower screen (though there are many who will argue otherwise).At $4 I believe the cost is really reasonable even if I never use it on the Gaggia again, I can still probably use it on any other 58-mm portafilter machine.

Note: Remember that you can only backflush a machine with a 3-way valve.If you are unsure of whether your machine has one or not I would strongly recommend finding out before buying this and possibly damaging your machine!

Rattleware 20-Ounce Latte Art Milk Frothing Pitcher Review

(More customer reviews)In case you're wondering what size to get for a home espresso machine like I was, this is the one!

Any smaller (for example, the 12oz or 16oz) and it won't fit much milk and you'll have to be lucky and skillful to keep it in the pitcher; any bigger (32oz+) and it probably won't fit under your steam wand easily, and you'll have a very hard time steaming only smaller amounts of milk because of the distance from the top to bottom of the pitcher.

This size, on the other hand, is PERFECT - small enough that you can do a one cup latte/cappuccino, but big enough to do two or three. Plus, it's very well made stainless-steel that is very sturdy and will last a long time, no problems there.

So if you've got a home espresso machine, like the DeLonghi or Barilla or Saeco/Starbucks (mine!) then this is what you want.

(More customer reviews)This is amazing stuff - it only takes a little powder to get a lot of coffee stains off of equipment.It also doesn't leave a flavor behind.When I first used this I was working as a barista in a bookstore and was amazed at how quickly the powder removed a day's worth of coffee grunge from our espresso machine and coffee pots.The only trouble we ever had with it was when we used too much powder - then the powder didn't fully dissolve and had to be wiped off.But even then it didn't affect the taste of the espresso the next morning.I would say for home use, you probably don't need more than a half teaspoon to clean out a coffee pot.I will probably purchase some once it comes back in stock!

(More customer reviews)This is one of the more competitively priced 12oz pitcher on Amazon. Its solid construction will ensure years of heavy usage. The previous reviewer commented on its handle but my medium sized hands fit the handle adequately without the need to come into contact with the pitcher. Otherwise, don't fill it to the rim with hot milk.

I pour latte art on my drinks and this pitcher has a nice sharp spout which allows the flow of milk to be easily controlled at the spout.

You can easily steam enough milk in this pitcher for 2 typical 5oz cappuccinos without spilling the milk in the steaming process. Recommended!

Rattleware 5-Inch Easy Steam S10 Review

(More customer reviews)I have owned this product now for about 4 months and it has been a great help to me in frothing milk for cappuccinos and lattes. I am a fairly serious cappucino junkie, Expobar machine, Mazzer mini grinder.

This product works best on my 20oz frothing pitcher, which I use most to prepare coffee drinks for 2-3 people. The clip holds well and it can be used unattended during the start of the steam process.

But, when I try to use it on my 12oz pitcher, it does not attach well because of the large clip on this thermometer. So it is less useful on this size.

In all, I love the analog display and the color coded areas. It very quickly gives you an assessment of how close you are to frothing (+140) temperature without having to read the display too closely.

Not perfect, but a good product.

Saeco SMK-06 Automatic Espresso Maker Maintenance Kit Review

(More customer reviews)needed (basically just) descaler but this kit came up as recommended on Amazon for our Saeco Odea Giro unit. the kit also includes the lubricant, a "paintbrush" to apply it to the brew group's hard-to-reach places, and a water filter (which we don't bother with; our drinking water is triple-filtered as it is). there's also a package of cleaning tabs which can't be used with the Odea Giro, unfortunately (as it doesn't have an automatic cleaning cycle).

next time around, i'll just buy the less expensive Urnex Dezcal descaling solution, which is evidently the OEM product that Saeco private labels in this kit.
