(More customer reviews)This thermometer has all the right features for frothing a pitcher of milk, it's a good size, and I liked the froth and scald indicators on the dial.
The problem with it is that face twists very easily on the stem, thereby 'changing' your temperature reading.Many thermometers allow you to calibrate them with a small wrench or tool, but this one will turn just by handling it. Even if you calibrate it in the morning, by the afternoon it will be off by 5-10 degrees.
I bought a couple dozen of these for my coffee shops, but ended up having to throw most away due to baristas inadvertently serving either cool drinks or scalding the milk.
