Unlike many other machines this one pre-infuses the coffee grounds for 2 seconds with a small amount of hot water, prior to the full extraction, resulting in maximum flavor extraction. It has programmable brewing functions, a water filtration system and you can use either preground beans or pods. It offers a consistent and precise water volume control. The adjustable portafilter allows you to switch from pods to ground and from single to double shots and back again with just a dial - no special adaptors required. The memory function means you can set your preferences for brewing. As with other semi-automatic espresso machines the boiler has a heating system designed not to overheat and operation of this machine is quite easy.
